Hair Plug DangersSome of the Hair Plug DangersWhen you hear about surgery for hair loss, you will hear about many people critiquing the surgery. One of those criticisms is about hair plug dangers. But in reality, there are no hair plug dangers per se. No one can die from this elective surgery, no one will even get that sick and your scalp will not be irreparably damaged. However, that does not mean that there are not hair plug dangers in the much broader sense. There are things that are dangerous to your hair plugs themselves as well as slightly risky to your health, both of which become things that are issues both in the short and long term. The only danger that is to yourself is with infection. It is very easy to get infected when you get hair loss surgery. That is because you get a lot of scabs, and those scabs are incredibly itchy. And if you scratch at those scabs you have two of the most bacteria filled things on your body - your hair and your fingernails - in contact with open wounds. Infection is very likely for that reason.

It's arguable whether or not those qualify as hair plug dangers, but one thing is clear - getting that surgery done does not mean that you are going to be immediately pleased with the results. It appears that the post surgery time can be painful, irritating and run the risk of getting severely infected if you pick at the scabs.
